I'm looking to build some target stands.  My buddy has about 35 acres an we're trying to come up with some designs so we no longer have to improvise.

A simple H frame with furring strips works fine.  You can even use wing nuts and make it foldable.

I use a stand build out of 3/4' PVC pipe. Cheap to build, easy to repair. About $10 per stand. Either use cardboard to tape your targets to or just use string or wires and binder clips.

Similar to what this gentleman did here.

We have many out of the PVC pipe, great until they get shot, BUT, cheap.  Make the base square, connected in a rectangle with an H upright.  You can break them all down and they are easy and light to carry...oh, they don't hold the STEAL well  LOL

I'm not worried to much about steel for now.  We're just getting the initial setup.  Steel comes later.
