This may not be the correct place to ask, but does anyone have good plans and/or schematics form putting together my own pepper popper steel targets and base?

And if there is someway to adjust the knock down power, that would be awesome!

Something like this is what I am talking about:

I don't have schematics for the base, but I do have one for the target itself.

Here's some info.  Maybe not all that you wanted:

I can't find a pic or plan but you see that drwg of the pepper popper above?

well at the bottom is a welded on rod (where it has the 9.5 in dimension).

That rod fits through two holes in a frame so it can swing.

In front there's a "stop" that is a bolt, that you can screw in or out to lean the popper plate forward on, just enough that when it's hit it falls backwards.

I made this one out of some scrap steel, the tip of a forklift fork, a monoshock from a scooter and a door hinge.

While it is definitely not the prettiest, it has taken a ton of rounds from my AR, Garand and Mauser so it's pretty tough.  It doesn't  fall over but it does absorb the force fairly well and makes a nice ding when hit.

Also,  I've never welded before so be nice.

Ok, so do you know of somewhere that I can get plans to make not just the popper, but the base as well?
