I hate to do this but I need to share this gem with you.
Have stopped by AX Tactical twice this week and have fallen in love with that shop. I've spoken with 4 different people who work there and they are all awesome. They carry a good selection of handguns (mostly Glock and 1911's - as it should be) and have quite the powder/primer selection as well. Right next to Symeon's for those in the "Yorkville" (it's New Hartford) area. My only financial affiliation with them is that I bought some primers and a reloading manual there today. Check the shop out, support another great local business. |

Absolutely. I do quite a bit of traveling - still have to stop into Van Tassels and see fp1201. If there are any stores between syracuse, utica and Malone worth stopping into LMK. If you can find the Mc D's off exit 41 (I-81) you can find me....unless I'm working. Van Tassel's is closed on Sun & Mon. |

I picked up a nice Oriskany Arms 1911 at AX Tactical last summer. Nice gun. And the guys in the shop were great! http://www.oriskanyarms.com/index.html I was in there yesterday and noticed those. I'd never heard of Oriskany before. They were a little busy so I didn't get a chance to ask about them. |

I picked up an Oriskany to add to my "Made in NY 1911 collection". So far:
Remington R1 - Ilion Kimber Tactical Entry and Ultra Crimson Carry - Yonkers Oriskany Arms 1911 Traditional FP - Oriskany Turnbull Commander - Bloomfield Dan Wesson V-Bob - Norwich Can you think of any manufacturers I missed? Oh, yeah. Almost forgot. FUAC. |

I should get a 1911 but I have a hard on for 10mm. However may put gun buying on hold to get a Master's....my ticket out of NY. And per BYUIND's instruction I've enrolled in a Six Sigma Green Belt course. Good shit bro. And when you have questions you google them, ask everyone else and then ask me lol. Seriously though, my specialty is production management and process improvement |
