I handled one at the LGS.  I couldn't get past the ergonomics of it.  The other grip/stock is the lesser of the two evils (like the ones found on Stag and Windham) IMHO.

My choices for uglyfucking something are...

1. Thordsen Stock

2. AR15 Spur

3. Ares ACR Lower

I only put Ares 3rd, due to the cost.  Thordsen has better ergonomics than the Spur, but the spur is $25, instead of $130-150.  You can also take a spare A2 grip and just cut it off to accomplish the same thing.

From a legal standpoint I would feel pretty good about configuration two...but in this assbackwards state I doubt it will guarantee you won't be arrested.

Been doing a lot of  followup research on this. seems the HH setup will entail buying an entry length stock and pistol length buffer tube. So that brings up the cost way up. Might try the Spur or MG.
