For those that registered their assault weapons, what proof is there that you did so?
I mean if I go down to the range and there are 5 guys exercising their 2nd amendment rights by shooting ar15's as they see fit, how is anybody to know whether those guns are registered. Did you get a sticker to put on it? Did you have to learn a secret handshake? Do you have yet another registration card you have to have on your person? How does a LEO know? |

You get a letter from NYSP showing the registered weapon(s)
Theres also a database that we can look up your info and if you're not registered we enter your info and that starts the clock ticking on the grace period to allow you to get registered.... or so they said in the literature that was disseminated after SAFE was passed I would have to hunt around to even find the link to the registration database if I even had a need to consult it |

We'll all be seeing way more full featured rifles than we ever have before because so many people will be pushed to fixed mag setups. Like pre-ban magazines, nobody will have any idea what's what just by looking at it soon and the stupidity will become ever more apparent. |
