Went down to remove a gun from my permit.
FYI as of May 1st no more cash transactions.
And they converted my paper license to the plastic one.

Come on, Nassau really still has people walking around with paper licenses? I think Suffolk started doing the plastic cards in the 90's.

So what form of payment are they taking now? Is there a fee to get the plastic if you have paper?

hey when i got to Mineola there was nobody in line in front of me (except for some handsome bald gent with a manly goatee and the faint aroma of an avo cigar about him).  I was done in under 45 minutes.  I'd gladly pay 10 bucks for that - everytime.

Nassau doesn't give a FUCK about people with pistol permits. Permit wait/process times are 18+ months including fingerprinting now just to discourage people from obtaining one
