Concealed Carry USA is offering classes all over the state, with non resident Utah, Arizona, and Florida permits you can carry in up to 39 states. I just pre registered for the one in Oswego.

| Went to the class the other night, I would recommend it to anyone who has a ccw. The only part I didnt like was from what I can understand with some states, especially here in NY youy pretty much have to have bullet holes or knife wounds in you to be justified in using your ccw in self defense... |

Although I do remember this case a couple of years ago in Syracuse and was surprised that the jury acquitted him especially in Onondaga county.

Agreed. "Duty to retreat", while codified in penal law, has an important qualifier: That you have to be able to retreat if doing so does not put you, or a third person, in greater harm than sticking around. |
