Here is the beginning of my SAFE compliant build. Yeah, yeah, yeah I get it FUAC we will not comply Molon Labia. I have a PSA upper on the way that will have a thread protector permanently attached, 16" CAR length gas system (my first direct impingement AR :(..... )....I intend on beginning pursuit of my Juris Doctor in the next year so an arrest on a violation is not an option. It will have a Midwest Industries 12" FF rail and Magpul MBUIS for now. Upper and parts have been ordered, will update with completed pictures and Range Report. |

So how does that thing feel in the hand? I just feel like that spur has no control. Prolly not a bad bench gun. |
| With just the lower it is hard to tell. I am going to get some grip tape tonight and cover it - I found a modified hand grip that doesn't suck. As far as who says it is not a pistol grip, where have you seen a pistol with a grip you can only get a finger on. Plus the law says ...that protudes conspicuously. |

I think the real build has a collapsible stock, short, threaded bbl, shoulder thing that goes up, bayonet lug, grenade launcher, claymore mine and swiss army knife deployment attachment. Shit, he's gotta have something to use with his wheelbarrow full of Beta mags.

Curious to ask why go with a spur, and not a mag lock? You want the ability to swap 10 round mags that much?
If I am looking at compliance options, I like the mag lock...at least an AR still looks like an AR to me....no matter how you slice it, the state and that fuckin cocksucker Cuomo fucked all utility out of the AR.... I think detachable magazine is a much more usable feature than anything else. Fuck top loading I have an SKS if I want to play historical games. I am putting ladder grip on the spur, hoping to shoot next weekend (late goose this weekend, some guys with guns do hunt more than paper). Any Camillus member can meet me and try it out. |

I am sure that at least some of the guys stating they will not comply truly will not, and will be willing to pay what price they may. Another thing not to forget, there would not have been a Heller decision without Heller, who decided he would not comply. What and how each person will do to fight this in their own way is up to that individual. I have never cast aspersions on those who decided they would register, even though I disagree with it. They may have circumstances that demand this is the way they go. I certainly never cast aspersions on those who will find a work around to avoid registration. On the contrary, I applaud ALL those efforts, as I see them as civil disobedience, a poke in the eye of Andy, and a giant FU to the gun grabbers. We are saying you can pass your BS laws, and we will find a way around them, and end up owning basically the same rifles legally. Whichever way you choose to do it is all good…I just personally hate the spur/funky stock method…and the Mini 14 method. But that’s just like my opinion, man…. |

The good thing (if we can look for a light while being buried under 1,000 tons of bullshit) is that any modification that you make that makes YOU think you don't have to register, is a valid defense against prosecution. If you don't think you need to register because you changed x, y, or z, then you get 30 days to register if someone wants to come down on you about it. |
