Broke a leafspring on the Tacoma - want to replace both leafspring packs with larger ones. Can anyone help me do this/does anyone own or work at a shop that can help me out?

I know a good shop. But ny is a big state. What's your zip?

Yeah I got the tools and time if you're near Wilson.

If you were close to WNY I would gladly let you come by and get her fixed.

A Tacoma with broken leaf springs?  You don't say.  LOL.  They break springs like it's their job.  Not too bad to change though.

I'm putting in aftermarket leaf packs so I can actually use them. Trying to find a local place to get them and a bro with a heated garage.

Google Whitesboro Spring, they're the ones out of Utica.

Everyone I know with shops/garages is closer to RottenCrotchFester and south.  Mainly Ontario/Wayne/Monroe counties.

Well looks like I am going with aftermarket springs and will be doing it in my garage. Any spare sets of hands will be rewarded with beer.

I wouldn't go with bigger/stiffer springs unless you haul all the time.
Your back will thank you.

There's a Spring shop we used to take out 10 wheel trucks to in East Syracuse across from Tracey Road Equip. on Bridge St....it's been a long time, I really can't recommend anyone in the area.
Any 4x4/off-road shops in the area?
Be mindful of over springing, lifting, and changing driveline angles; with each modification generally something is sacrificed.

There was a TSB for sagging springs that the owner had to complain about to get fixed.  Not sure if yours would fall under that or not.

Tacoma OEM leaf springs are weak and shitty:

I'm getting it fixed at Allied Spring and then trading it in.

If someone wants to fix them on their own, a jack and blocks can do the job right? Jack it up the stack the blocks?

That's where we used to take the trucks IIRC.
Funny you say that; I just spent close to 1K on tires, brakes, and 100K service for my BMW then wrecked it.
I bought a nice little Ford Ranger, but have to wait for a replacement title to come from Arkansas
That duce is a cold MF'r to drive.

Changing your own springs isn't all that bad IF you torch off the U-bolts and the shackle bolts aren't rusted stuck....I've watched more mechanics parts changers waste half the day trying to save $30. worth of bolts. As far as I'm concerned once they're used, torqued in place they're a one time use. (of course there are always exceptions)

Yeah. It is my daily driver so if something screws up and I can't get to work life is no good.

You should never reuse the spring U-bolts, once torqued they stretch one time only use.
