Not a firearm; perfectly legal (except if it comes with 10+ mags)

Gunbroker has a bunch, sportsman's guild has 2 diff ones but are saying they wont send to NY and AK-builders has a couple different ones but both are AK74. I'd like to build or get one before its too late. all around 400-425 .

What is the right price? That's not a bad idea either I'm sure Pa has them also.

That's a lot of cash for a barrel-less parts kit (especially since you'd need to dump some of those pieces for 922(r) compliance).  I'd just wait for the next shipment of Saiga rifles as they are NY compliant and can be converted easily should this POS law be thrown out (or, you know... whatever)

The way I understand it your build could not be an assault weapon since the deadline has passed.

Good thing he completed that 80% receiver flat pre-SAFE Act!  Also, good thing he purchased a pre-SAFE dated Saiga in PA.  Shame the NYSP don't have access to that 4473 to verify the transaction date!
