The liberals seem to be arguing that it's constitutional because having the affected weapons in private hands constitutes a threat to public safety.
But the act doesn't REMOVE the weapons from private hands, it only blocks their sale or transfer. So how can that possibly be court-reviewed as a plausible argument? Is there any case law on anything like this? It's like they're saying that it's illegal to shout fire in a crowded theather, but only if the theater was built after 2012. Wtf kinda legal sense does that make? |
| Regarding the lawsuit(s) I was wondering what the legal precedents for overturning the "AW" registration (confiscation) scheme is? Do other states have it? I know that if you register you basically are giving up the rights to your legally owned property. How can we defeat this? Thank you. |
