Picked this up in GD (my first venture there in a while - )
Paul Howe is a very respected former specops soldier and instructor. I have never trained with him, but have read his books. https://blog.wilsoncombat.com/paul-howe/2nd-amendment-and-the-kool-aid-drinkers-by-paul-howe/ |

Quote in Article I don’t believe that service members would go back into the communities that raised them and conduct raids on good Americans in violation of the constitution. There is an easy solution to that taken from the Chinese crackdown at Tienanmen Square and the confiscation for firearms during Katrina; you use troops/police from far outside the area you are conducting the crackdown. The Tienanmen Square crackdown was conducted by Chinese Army regulars brought in far away from Beijing and who had no ties or loyalty to the people of Beijing. During Katrina, the personnel shown on television confiscating firearms and roughing up elderly armed women were not from New Orleans or even Louisiana. I would expect as a precursor to future event the large scale shuffling of troops around the United States in order to base personnel in targeted areas with newly arrived people who have no friends or loyalties to the area. I would also expect the military to run cursory background checks on any people be relocated to a certain area to make sure they had no family in the area (parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins). At least that is how I would do it ![]() |

I wonder what this guy thought about the Katrina confiscations. You know, the ones LE and MIL fully participated in. The ones on the road, on the water, and house to house. You know, those ones. And for all those that think the confiscations were a myth....... Katrina Confiscations |
