Sorry for the delay in doing an after action report about the AR15/M16 Armorers Course held last weekend at ARFCOM HQ.
Greg ( SULLY ) Sullivan was the instructor for the two day course that featured the basics of stem to stern maintenance and construction of the AR15/M16 system. Greg's techniques using hands-on construction and trouble shooting are some of the best I've experienced in the field. As many of you know I deal with the system on a daily basis, from both an engineering/machining perspective as well construction using LEAN manufacturing. This was a refresher course for me, but SULLY's teaching style kept my attention though out both days, and he brought me up to date on a few techniques. Greg also pointed out some new innovations that directly impacts what I do for a living, making my life a little bit easier each day... Thanks go out to the AVILA FAMILY for hosting this, and the ARFCOM CHRISTMAS PARTY also.
