Applied for my permit on aug 30th and got it back on october 10th. Just over a 5 week wait. The judge out of Herkimer county has been signing the licenses due to the election of the new county judge here in a couple weeks. Crandall I think was his name. Restricted it to target/hunting but glad to get it back in a timely manner anyways! I'll apply for an amendment once the new judge gets seated in office. Just a bit of info for anyone waiting in Lewis or Herkimer counties I guess!

Might be a good time to question the candidates to their stance on handgun licenses....you'd be surprised at the answers you'll get. |
