I have done several pieces for motorcycles & auto engine parts. Not hard to do, water temp is very important, time in the dip tank all plays a part in how well it comes out. I clear coat with automotive urathane paint at the shop I work at.

I believe this was a response to my thread a couple of days ago about hydrographics.

I'm interested in doing a few pieces but I'm not sure if it would pay to do it myself or what the going rate is. I'm game to give it a go and have a friend with autobody spray equipment if need be.

It's how you do stuff like this.........

This Place is only 20 mins from me.
Some of their stuff is at local shops, including Tim's guns.

From what I have researched, only as tough as the surface prep and clear coat applied. Also, the base/surface coat will affect the finished product color since the media is somewhat transparent.

I was about to order some film to play with but that warm weather spell we had meant I got to take care of lawn work instead.
