I plan to take my wife to NYC early June for our anniversary. She has never been and I have been dozens of times as a young guy in the Army a few years ago. She would like to see a Broadway show, central park, 9/11 memorial and Times Square. Her requests seem easy enough but it has been 7 years since I've been to the city.
We will be flying up from WV and hopefully staying around Times Square. Can anyone suggests things to do and a show to see? Also, as far as dates go, I'm leaning towards June 6th through the 11th. |

If its more than $100 a ticket its not worth it. ***ETA $69 per ticket plus $20 surrcharge = I may do that. |

DON'T BRING AND GUNS WITH YOU. the city has been busting tourists lately who have carry permits in their home state and bring them into the city. you will get treated like a criminal. I have no intention on bringing even a paperclip with me. ![]() paperclips are okay if they are pre-ban. 9/11 memorial tickets need to be reserved ahead of time but I believe they are free |

Be very careful about buying fake discount tiks for Mormon or any other Broadway show. http://www.playbill.com/news/article/150201-Counterfeit-Tickets-Sold-for-Broadways-The-Book-of-Mormon |
