With any luck the dumbass will try to offload it soon to a reputable pawn shop where the owner will contact police.

Sorry to hear about this.  I pray it's found before it gets to the wrong hands.

My eyes are on the look out.  Sorry to hear about the theft.
My uncle had a 1911 stolen from his home in the late 80's then around 2000 got a call from a neighboring county Sheriff it was recovered in a bust.

Ya Im hoping for the best. This guy had balls. There was six of us that were no more than 15 yards away from my truck (also outside on the front porch). Most of the time one of us is carrying concealed. I would like to catch the guy trying to steal something down there again. We have him on camera but it was at night. you can get a fairly good look at him.

Sucks, but that's why you shouldn't leave valuables visible in a vehicle's interior.

If you've got the serial numbers, perhaps you could post those or send a copy of the police report to users privately.  The two guys with FFL's that I deal with also do a substantial amount of taking in used guns for cash or other merchandise.  They also know a ton of other dealers, and I'm sure that if I gave them a copy of that police report it would be in dozens of dealers inboxes throughout the lower Hudson valley, southern upstate, and Nassau/Suffolk areas.

Let me know.
