Got there around 11:30...only about ten cars in the lot. Fantastic day to shoot....great weather. Went down to the 50 yd benches to check the zero on two of my rifles. Mostly scoped bolt guns up and down the line....but the guy next to me had two seriously tricked out ARs. One was a 20" preban(can't remember the roll marks) with a monster scope on it. The other was a build. A Spike's Tactical lower, a huge light, a nondescript VFG, a bipod, floating rails, and a red dot optic (couldn't get the make). Friendly guy. The pistol line was all Glocks. Two G19s and a G17. Some dude two bences over was shooting a beautiful single shot .22 bolt gun. I've never understood the whole single shot thing.....but it was cool looking. Also a friendly guy. Stayed till 2:30. |
