| I've been told that you can not hunt in NY with a muzzle device of any kind be it a muzzle break or flash hider. My source is a peace officer who also told me that DEC made his friend cut the flash hider off of his M1A to the muzzle before he could return to his tree stand. Any merrit in this? I've been lookingup the DEC regulations and found nothing. |

I love how people make this sh*t up as they go along. Have this peace officer show you the regulation either in encon or pl! If he can't, tell him he better stop spreading false info! |

I doubt your friend's version of the story. Having dealt with a number of DEC guys I don't think one of them would even bother to waste their time on such a thing. |

I doubt your friend's version of the story. Having dealt with a number of DEC guys I don't think one of them would even bother to waste their time on such a thing. Oh that was his version alright. It sounded funky to me and that's why I went nuts looking on the dec website. |
