I know this isn't the proper place to post this, but it's for "local" NY guys unless someone wants to pay shipping. Feel free to delete if necessary! I've got a bunch of 3/8" AR500 steel targets I'd love to get out of my shop. I have FBI Q's, Scaled down IPSC with stands  and 8" knockdown pistol rounds along with some hanging rifle with stands. Also have 3- 28" diameter 1/2" thick gongs wo stands, but they're not AR plate. Feel free to contact me if yor're interested, the prices are reduced. Thanks, Chuck

good morning all

i stopped at bowbender's shop and bought a steel plate and hanger on saturday

a tube/pipe stand with a 3/8th thick steel....very well made

very reasonably priced (and no shipping involved, which makes it even better!)

very nice guy with some very nice steel plate targets

if you dont have to drive too far, it is well worth the trip to oneida

oh....i took it out for a test spin and it worked fine

kinda cool hearing that ping

I had my dad stop by bowbender's shop to pick up a couple of reduced scale IPSC silhouette targets with 48" take down stands last week since he lives in the area.  We already took them out and shot some .308 at them this weekend.  Great targets.  The stands are nice and strong and come apart for easy transport.  The .308 rounds take the paint off the targets but don't mark the AR500 steel.

One  my stands took a direct hit from a 175 grain .308 round for... ummm... testing purposes  I don't mean a glancing blow, I mean a solid, dead on hit.  A little bend in the stand with a good divot in the front but it definitely stood up to the hit.

Thanks for the targets.
