All I can say is "WOW", he's still got it. He did Pink Floyds "The Wall" from start to finish and the music and stage show were amazing. It was kind of crazy how timeless "the wall" really is and how he adapted the story to modern day America . Anybody catch it? I wish I would have brought my camera, but I just ended up with a gaggle of shitty cell phone pics

I wish we'd known he was performing; we would have gone.

Fifteen years ago my nephew asked "Hey Unc; you ever heard of a band called Pink Floyd"?  Then ~5 years ago one of our sons asked the same question.
Son if you only knew....if you only knew.
Just goes to show the timelessness of their productions.

I saw a T-shirt the other day that struck a chord:  "I may be old, but I got to see all the really cool bands."

While I would have loved to see that tour, I won't pay to see him any longer.  I did see him 3 or so years ago at Jones Beach,  he was kind political and vocal about his opinion, so I'm turned off to him now.  I love Gilmores' work as well, and he keeps his mouth quiet about that kind of crap.  In conclusion, I don't pay out my ass for concert tickets to listen to these liberal shit dicks.  Springsteen is off my list as well, btw.  IMHO, that is not the time or place for that kind of crap.  Not on my dime anyway.
ETA, my sister and B-I-L saw them last week and thought it was a great show as well.

I'm seeing him on Tuesday at Nassau Coliseum and I have front row seats –– report to follow.

Amazing show.  HSBC should stop having concerts as nothing will ever beat that performance

You will love it, Im just glad I got a chance to see that performed live. I believe GE Smith from the saturday Night Live band and Hall and Oats fame was the lead guitarist. he did a killer job on Comfortably numb. I got fuckin goosbumps during the solo.

I saw him years ago. I will never go to another one of his shows. His politics is way to the left and he spent too much time telling the audience about his views.

But honestly, how much did the tickets cost?

I had 300 level seats directly across from the stage and face value was only 55.00 bucks!!! it ended up costing me almost 65.00-70 bucks after surcharge. All politics aside, its a timeless piece of our youth and American history. Go see it if you have the chance!!!

I work right across the street from the arena. I went outside and laughed at the guy preaching calling everyone sinners as they went into the show. Pretty cool.

Somewhere on this tour, he will be doing one show with David Gilmour.  Lucky bastards whoever they are.

Thats funny, That jerkoff was outside last winter before the AC/DC show in the rain with a wet infant in a stroller. I wanted to choke the fucker. He calls everyone sinners but subjects an infant to that bullshit in the rainy freezing cold. You should have shot him in the leg. hahaha

The best thing I saw at a Sabres game was one guy on a street corner with a cardboard sign saying Need Tickets... While right across the street was a guy with another cardboard box sign saying Selling Tickets.  To this day I wonder if they ever met up.

So True!!!  On the flip side I had to explain to a 30 y/o that any band that needs a gimmick of a clown costume and make up is tragically flawed.  He didn't get why I cannot stand the band in question.
