I know for rifles you can only use soft or hollow point bullets, but does that also apply to pistol caliber rifles?

I have shot FMJ 9mm from my Beretta storm, no one bats an eye.

Only rifle cartridges need to be HP/SP. Rifles that are chambered in pistol size cartridges are GTG for FMJ

$7.   an hour for county residents with leisure card
$14. an hour for non-county residents
?

I haven't been there is a very long time.  I guess M193 ammo is out.  That is all I have.

pwr2al4,
actually was working today, posted just as I was leaving.
I actually don't think I have been there since early in the spring.  Getting back into archery, and fishing as
well as honey-do stuff seems to have taken me away from the range since.  I need to wear one of my ARFCOM
infidel shirts next time as otherwise I just seem to shoot a few of my possessions and leave in 55 minutes flat, lol.
Just noticed my leisure card was expired last time I used it.  May hold off until June when I will get a permanent
senior citizen card and not have to pay a fee to renew every three years like now, (even with the vet annotation.)

Yes and no. Bring a box of HP with you. They normally only ask at the counter, and very rarely do they actually ask to see it. I normally shoot whatever I please once I get down into the rooms..

Be careful with that

^^ I never said it was a good practice or even not a scumbag thing to do, just that it can sometimes be done when in a pinch...

Take a look at the walls, floors and ceilings (and the dividers and even a back window)...thats why they have those rules.  Otherwise there is no reason...I've never seen anyone get into trouble for it.  Be safe.

not cool. its a very good backstop and ill admit i've put a handful of fmj downrange once or twice years ago, but I had the entire bay to myself. I'm a bigtime myob type but if someone was shooting 193 or 855 next to me i'd ask them to stop and if not  I would make an issue out of it if I had to. im not risking my eyes due to someone elses ignorance or indifference to rules.
