| Anyone interested in a defensive pistol class during the first week of November in Springwater, NY. The class would be taught by Chris Fry/M.D.T.S. I'm trying to gauge interest to see if we can get enough people together to make it happen. |

i was just checking out chris's website and they have the NOV6th class listed on there. are we supposed to enroll through his site or is this class going through you? Everything is done through Chris, do not enroll yet. I don't think you can actually enroll right now on his site but the info is there though. Enrollment should open up sometime early to mid next week after I speak to the club and get the OK. Based on the interest in this class I'm guessing it's going to fill up pretty quick! |

I agree with Rich, the range is clearly marked from the main road (15) and is pretty easy to find.
Looks like it may be a little cold on Saturday so make sure you bring plenty of snacks, water and possibly gloves/weather appropriate cover garments. See you guys Sat! |

Chris always includes cover garments in the safety brief but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give you guys a heads up. Most jackets have a draw string of some sort around the waist and these WILL find their way into your holster, quite possibly the trigger guard as well. If you don't like the idea of cutting the draw string on an expensive jacket, tape is a good substitute. Tom |

Tom The weather forecast for Saturday is a high of 32 and a low of 26 with snow showers expected. It's going to be a cold one! |

Saturday: A chance of snow showers before 2pm, then a chance of rain showers. Cloudy, with a high near 39. Northwest wind between 5 and 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
Motivated training, cold and wet is the only way to train |

GREAT meeting and shooting witheveryone this weekend. Tom and I enjoyed working with everyone and despite the cold, wet, muddy weather we still met all the class goals. Everyone was safe and I look forward to getting back out to Springwater again very soon! Thanks guys.
I know Mike and Dirty shot some pic's at the class, as soon as I get them I will post any good ones. Chris |

You guys are killing me . I've been meaning to change the avatar, I hope Mike C got some good photos on Saturday. Cmon Mike, papa needs a new avatar!!
Almost forgot: This needs to be mentioned! Congrats to Jason for a 49 yard, double action shot in the "Walk Back" drill We actually ran out of room on the range before we could watch him fail.
