Gentlemen,

So my project is coming to an end within the next couple of months, and there's no new work in the company on the horizon. So if you guys work in construction industry in NYC and/or know someone who's looking for an excellent Superintendent (myself), please drop me an IM or reply to the topic.

I have many years of experience in mid- and hi-rise construction and a Site Safety Manager's license. Just to illustrate, I'm the longest employed Super in the company after everyone else has already been layed off. So there's a reason they're still hanging on to me (not to brag about it).

I appreciate your help in advance. Hope something will break soon.

Gramercy? I've never heard of them and my search turned out nothing. Do they have a website? Can you provide a contact information for them, please?

Once again, thank you very much for your help.

Check with Gilbane.  No idea if they have an opening but they do jobs all over and list opportunities on their website.  They're consistently rated one of the best companies to work for.

I'm finishing a 133-unit hi-end rental in East Village. Did it from start to finish. One more floor left to TCO (in a week) and some punch list.

Thank you very much. I appreciate everyone's input. Sent my resume to Gilbane last night. As far as Gramercy - demo is not really my thing, but will do in a bind.

I live in the Bronx, but hoping to move to lower Westchester pretty soon. Others move to Free States to escape New York. I'm moving to Westchester to escape NYC.

Nice.  All of the people I've worked with from Gilbane are top notch.  I'm an HVAC/plumbing engineer so I've worked with them on a few projects.

Gilbane doesn't have and opening for a Supt listed in NYC area. But I sent my resume in anyway. You never know.
Do you have any particular contacts in the company, anyone I can speak with?
Thank you again for your help.

Check out Cianbro.  Another big company that could have something in the area you want.  They're huge and the people I've worked with from there were all top notch.
