| Okay so ive read the NYS AWB over and over and understand no barrel threads, but during my bulgy ak-74 build I encountered the 24mm threaded front sight base. The threads are one unit with the front sight base that is pinned to the barrel, which means the barrel itself is not threaded implying that if you took the law word for word I could leave the muzzle brake un-attached. But would the state see this differently?
