| Now Chuckie is saying that it was the lack of gun laws that led to the Fort Hood shooting, what an ASS!Poughkeepsie Journal |
|
Two observations:
1. The major had been under "investigation." He had not been convicted or even charged with anything. I'm sure many Patriots and tea partiers are also under investigation. Chuckie thinks this is enough to take away their Second Amendment right. Also, just because someone can't buy a gun at the store through an FFL transaction doesn't mean he won't be able to get a gun. 2. So, Chuckie has a beef with the sale because of Hasan's ties to terrorism. Well, does that make the Fort Hood shooting a terrorist act Chuck? I haven't heard any libtards call this a terrorist act. Come on now Chuck, you can't have it both ways. |

Listen, Chuck Schumer isn't interested in "the facts" all he cares about is increasing his political power via any means he can.
He's well aware of the pro's and con's of the control debate, but he knows that stirring the pot will get his face on TV and in the papers, increased exposure increases his chances of being re-elected and possibly even nominated for a higher position. |

Quoted: So true. Bob Dole once quipped that the...but he knows that stirring the pot will get his face on TV and in the papers, increased exposure increases his chances of being re-elected and possibly even nominated for a higher position. shortest distance in Washington is the one between Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and a TV camera. http://www.time.com/time/daily/scandal/schumer.html |

He's inline for Reid's majority leader position when Reid steps down gets thrown out in Nov. 2010. |
| This is why we all need to get up & VOTE! What we need is term limits, 2 terms & you go get a job, the lifetime do nothing people in office all need to go. If two terms is good enough for the office of president it should be good for everyone else, OH, except for Mayor bloomfart who said term limits are needed when Rudy wanted to stay around after 9/11, who complained about it- bloomfart!!! Money talks, bull shit walks! |

asshole Very profound, my brother!!! Very profound.....LOL! THANKS for all the help yesterday....! Work Safe Met him at the State Fair, he's the one who introduced himsefl as "Your Senator" to which my reply was "not mine". He was perplexed and my wife took the opportunity to say "we're gun owning Christians...you don't represent us." The look on his face was priceless. |

If we could get a decent challenger in the primary, it might not have to go that route.

Name a Republican, other than Rudy Guiliani or George Pataki, with statewide name recognition. Damned if I can.
Someone decent needs to run against this shit-bag, so we can kick his ass to the curb. |

This woman did a 180 on EVERY blue-dog-Democrat-issue she ever said she stood for as a congresswoman, e.g., even changing her views on the Tiarht Amendment, the very legislation that she helped write! Even UpChuck recently voted against funding for ACORN - Gillipuke was one of only about 6 senators that voted for continuing the funding! |

She's the easier target, perhaps, but he's far more dangerous and capable of more damage.

Actually, all firearms are to be secured in the company arms room when on post - the only time they are readily at hand is in a combat zone unless you're at the firing range, on an armed detail or an MP, (or in a combat area). That's the way it was when I was in the Army back during the late Vietnam era. I suspect that this has been policy since before Custer.
Clinton did enough to hamstring our military, but I don't think we can hold him responsible for this one.
