| The newspaper today stated that the Republicans are expected to show up. However, it is questionable whether or not they could get enough votes to pass it at this time as most Republicans would vote no and a few upstate Democrats would most likely join them . Also, S-6005 IS NOT the bill passed by the Assembly. Therefore, it it does pass, the Assembly would have to be called back into session in order to pass it since the version they passed is not the same. Gotta love amendments! |
