Hows that for a confusing title?

I think my sellers are working behind the scenes to delay my closing.
My options here are severely limited.
If you see me in the news soon, that's why.

Anyone else been in these shoes?

he has bought a new apartment, and they are dragging their feet in the closing. somehow i'm not surprised. Long Island Real Estate is a joke.

I'm buying an apartment.
Seller is on the co-op board.
Management company has been dragging serious a$$ in getting my application processed and setting up board interviews - so far 3 weeks of straight incompetence delaying my approval.
All of a sudden we find out what I feel is the real reason: seller now says he needs more time to close than the contract allows for.
Of course, I can't pressure seller to close until I have board approval.
Can't prove anything, but me and my lawyer smell carp.

I was supposed to have a closing on some property I own in the finger lakes by the first of the year. So , here we are , basically July, and still NADA.
The wheels grind slowly......

hey pauli, I have prop in the finger lakes....closing was easier than buying a car! 15 minutes in a lawyers office, a handshake and a couple of checks...NOTHING like long island....whatcha got/where?

I had / have 51 acres in Bath NY, its exit 39 on rt 17 west.
Nice , decent size lake and nice rolling land.
I grew up on that land.
Love it up there, but its currently too far, hence, Paulverton
