Can I legally rebuild a mag in NY.
I mean if it has dented feed lips can I buy a new mag body and remove all the inside parts and install them in the new unmarked body. |
| I don't think there is any kind of official ruling but the general understanding is that the body is the part that makes it preban. If you ask me it would be asking for trouble. If you did decide to do it I would always keep the damaged body in my bag with me. Just my 2 cents. I'm not a lawyer or anything. |
