Does anyone here (NJ) know if it is possible to buy a Stoner rifle from Knights Armament?  Like the one in the following link?

SR15

or

this one

I spoke with Tim at Knights and he said that thaty only sell complete rifles with a single serial number.  They won't custom build one without a flash suppressor, nor one with a pinned/fixed stock.  Basically said that it wasn't possible to get one in NJ.

But he did say that the lagtime was only thirty days if I were to be able to have one.

if you can get him to ship it to ADCO, they can neuter it for you, but honestly, i wouldn't want to butcher an SR15 that way. just wait til you leave jersey. for now, get yourself a stag or something.

Great idea!

I wouldn't want to butcher it up either but I don't intend to leave here anytime soon (don't know why).

I'll look into that idea but they only ship to FFL's which they are but it may be tricky to have the two way transfer.

During the AWB, they did sell postban compliant models.  I sold mine last year.

OR, have it shipped to an FFL that will do the necessary alterations for you.  NJ Firearms Guild in Rahway has a Smith on staff, he said he charged around $70.00 to blind pin and wels a FA on a bbl, i would assume pinning a stock wouldnt cost all THAT much either.  I dont know what they charge for transfers though.  Check with PK, I dont know if he can do the NJ-Compliant gelding as well or not, and if so, he's at least an ARF'er
