Just wanted to get some feedback or advice.. I ordered 1000 rounds of .223 and its to be shipped to my home in lower Westchester county. I get a email saying " Due to New York City law, we cannot ship ammo within city limits. Do you have an alternate address outside of New York City and its burroughs that we can ship to?" I explained where I live and its not in the city limits as far as I understand. Is this a none issue or they can't ship and risk having it end up in the city as some point during the trip?

There are no restrictions on shipping ammo to WC. Call them back and explain again that you live in WC and not in NYC. They are either confusing your PO zip as a NYC zip or maybe the they are thinking that the PO name sounds like it's within NYC. I know people who think that the village of Bronxville is in the Bronx when it's actually in WC. ETA: woops too late |
