I went to Mitchell Field friday late afternoon and it was dead empty. Just myself and two guys with a newly purchased AK. They were having a blast. I broke in my "new to me" 2nd gen glock 22 and the advantage arms .22lr conversion. Took no time at all to go through 100 rounds of .40, and 100 rounds of .22lr. Great range to shoot at.
Mental note: bring a brick of .22 ammo next time. It burns through them so quickly. lol And Gold Dot JHP .40 are awesome. Now that I got shooting those out of my system, I'll get the regular crap ammo for the range and save the good stuff for home defense.
