Anyone know if the GSG-5 .22lr, MP5 look-a-like fixed stocked version, is legal in NYS?

It's legal in NJ, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be in NY.

The gun is legal, but the magazine is high cap so not legal, last I knew there were to be 10rd mags, don't know if they come that way to NY yet.

I thought the 10 round mag restriction didn't apply to 22 LR.

Nope, only the non-detachable tubular magazines with a semi-auto .22.
