I'm sure this has been asked before but I get no results when I use the search. to what length do I have to go to fix an adjustable stock to satisfy the laws of NewYorkistan. Pin, glue. bolt and nut what. If I just blind pin it is that enough. If someone can point me to a good link that works too. Thanks in advance Blocker ETA- I don't mean how long (length) but "to what extent" |
![]() I liked that definition |
bushmaster uses rifle length (=long) buffer tubes for their faux "fixed" M4 telescoping stocks. no epoxy is needed. even if one removes the two roll pins that hold the stock in place, it can't go anywhere as the rifle length buffer tube prevents collapsing the stock. ar-jedi |

jedi, I understand what you are saying but couldn't an overly zealous prosecutor pull the stock BACK and say that it's collapsable. I wouldn't go with roll pins that go all the way thru, and I wouldn't go without the glue. My fixed stocks have epoxy and at least two BLIND pins. |
I believe he is talking exclusively about the Bushmaster fixed 'faux' stocks, which have an A2 length buffer tube. |
