I went to a site that I visit every day to download an overnight radio show to my iPod and got this message: Host '172.16.4.6' is blocked because of many connection errors. Unblock with 'mysqladmin flush-hosts' I searched but don't really understand what is wrong. Is this a temporary error on the part of the website and will rectify itself? Or is something amiss on my end that I need to correct? Please help! |
Nothing you can do.
The site's database server is not accepting connections from the computer with the above IP addy. As that is a private-space IP address, more than likely it is a site problem where the database server doesn't want to talk with the web server anymore. Maybe send an email to the contact person for the website... could try "webmaster@<web site name>". -WhyTanFox |
