Principles of shooting Ballistics Steady positions / prone, standing, kneeling, and sitting Target analysis Grouping Zeroing for iron sights and optics Night firing devices Low/no light Close Quarters Marksmanship (Rifle/ Carbine) (2 days, 4 hours classroom; 10 Hours range) Topics included: Principles of short range marksmanship Stance Sight picture Shot placement Trigger control Magazine changes / Hasty and Tactical Malfunction drills Stationary Left and Right 90 and 180 degree turns Firing while moving Under gun lights |
| We need to F2F sometime. I want to avoid blue on blue up in our kneck of the woods and you are much farther along than I in my planning. I wasn't able to hit the armourers course this week got caught up running down paperwork on my COAD and sorting through what I am going to be doing this next 10 mos or so. |
