Hi guys, You know from my other posts that I should be getting my pistol permit next week. Anyone have a local source for some cheap 357 mag. I only need a couple of boxes to tide me over until my online shipment arrives. I looked at Wallyworld and all they had was some high-end defense ammo at about $20/20. Is anyone selling blazer brass? Thanks! Whisky19 |
The local Walmart (nearest to whisky and me) has completely phased out their firearms section. All that's left is some drips and drabs of ammo in a small case. Once it's sold out, that's it. It didn't seem like there was much there at all. I was looking for some buckshot and all they had was #8 birdshot left. I didn't happen to notice anything at all in .38 or .357. |
How far are you from either the Cortlandt Town Center or Fishkill Wal-Mart's? Both have ammo and Fishkill still sells guns. |

How's the pricing at Thruway? I was there a few month's ago and they had some off brand 38 special on the floor for about $6.00/box. I wasn't looking at ammo at the time so I didn't catch the pricing. Are their ammo prices reasonable? I can swing by there after I see the judge in Goshen. |
Darn. I wish I knew, I would have bought some cases. |

Just picked up a couple of boxes at the Middletown Gander Mtn today. They had a lot of different brands but I was only looking for some plinking rounds so I bought a box of Blazer 158gr JHP for $14.99/50 and a box of American Eagle 158gr JSP for 20.99/50. A little high but close to internet prices after delivery charges. Whisky19 |
