If I move to a new town in New Jersey, do I need to go through the FID application process again? Do I need to update my FID with my new address in any way shape or form? |

You need to go to the PD at your new location and do a change of address on your FOID card. They will get your records from your old address PD and issue you a new card marked "Duplicate" if you are clean, eventually. In my case from 5 years ago, fingerprinting me again was not required. My old card was 24 years old. |
