I was just at a meeting at Bethpage Club..It was proposed by a member of SASSY If I spelt it right and a NYSRPA delegate, that the new laws being drafted by the soon to be new Attorney General is ALL long Guns to be Registered in the State of NY... Also New handgun laws are going to be drafted to only allow the Elite..People like Trump and so on will only be allowed to have hand guns..The State is taking a Que from NYC and going to adopt laws from here, Cali and NJ.... Now like I said I DO NOT KNOW IF THIS IS TRUE Maybe Hiram could give us some input to this...All I know I do believe that the long gun part is going to be a reality. |
I had one  The ironic part was that I was trying to escape NY...but it was sort of like the last scene in The Perfect Storm...big wave...boat gone...all firearms lost...then I woke up on the shores of NY...it was a horrible event and now I'm  for life.

Nothing will change in NY unless the Republican controlled Senate supports the legislation. Daddy Cuomo was in office for 12 years and couldn't get any of his anti-gun legislation enacted. Note to self -- make sure to go and VOTE this November. IMHO, the local and state assembly elections are 1) where your vote actually DOES make a difference and 2) The local and state laws are the ones, you feel the most. Well, worst case, I could get FL residenship and move my arms there. It's only a 16 hour drive :-) |

The only problem is 12yrs ago is not today..The faces have changed and there are more of them in there to make a change.... PA is the place for me if I have to deal with this cold weather till my wife retires...I told my wife to be ready to move or get a divorce.. |
