Any preference on what is a good time to shoot at Calverton. Mornings, Afternoons  etc. Don't want it to be to crowded, well except maybe with arfcommers and ebr guys. I will try to make it in one of the weekdays early next week.

It's a sand-pit with no shade, but being from NV. you might actually like that
otherwise sane people go early in the day.

No, that's Calverton...It's still just a sand pit..with some benches, tables, and some cover...

Actually the tables were probably brought there for one of the shoots/meets.

There is NO cover at calverton.  The tents and tables must have been from a meet.

Just bring a beach umbrella and you have all the shade you could want.

Shows you the last time I was there.  There was a canopy running from the 50-100 yard line in the middle of the shooting points.  I thought Harry was trying to upscale the place.

That hasn't been in place since 2002!  Upscale?  You're lucky if 5 points at 100 yards have target boards up on them now.  The place has become a hole.  AND they no longer allow you to shoot at plates at 100 yards.  So you can't shoot the dirt, can't find a target board to place a 100 yard target up, so you're left holding your dick in your hand.

I now shoot at the county range.
