Probably not IMHO, but you never know in NJ. You can always lawyer up if your denied.

    The mental health check that is done is different from the FBI/State background check that is done. They will search for any medical records as far as I know. So the answer is yes, knowing this state (or Dept.), it may be an issue. You may want to talk to a lawyer before you file if you are really concerned. That is the best advice.
