Does anyone know if I send out a lower to get refinished or replaced if I need to use a FFL? Thanks |

No, but if you are shipping it out-of-state it must be received by a FFL. You should verify the FFL's shipping address using the ATF FFLeZCheck system. If you are sending it to Colt etc. you don't need to verify anything. https://www.atfonline.gov/fflezcheck/ |
In New York (can't speak for NYC), the manufacturer can send it back directly to you as there is no transfer involved. Bushmaster repaired a lower that I sent to them and sent it back directly to me. |
