| I am selling my glock to a PA resident. Can i take the glock to a gunshop in PA on saturday, then go to the NY courthoues the following week to take the pistol off my permit, or do i have to wait till its off my permit to take it to the gunshop. I have never sold a firearm before and want to make sure everything is legal. thanks |
I'm sorry but I bought one and didn't like it, even bought a 22lr conversion kit to try and like it all to no avail. Generally speaking: All you need do is send it to a licensed FFL, and then report to your issueing office for an amendment to remove the pistol. Of course they'll want to know where it went, and that will be noted on the amendment. BTW: they will charge you to remove as well as add to your licenses. Couple months ago, I finally had almost a dozen removed that I had sold over the last ten years.....boy did I get bitched at.
