Besides the Karmelo Anthony appeal and his new attorneys basically blaming the family for their antisocial behavior, there are other stories hanging around. Independent journalist Sarah Fields is suing 3 people in the Anthony camp for defamation for their statements on social media. And Sarah's attorney is... CJ Grisham, who you will remember from Open Carry Texas and who recently became an attorney. So anyways. The accused are now bashing Grisham as a newbie attorney and both sides are of course being polite and businesslike about the court proceedings. It is said that the Metcalf family is seeing how this goes in preparation for their own civil suit for the family's media attacks after the murder.
