I see the powder is 2230c. What are you reloading with  it? If it is for .223, where do you get your components, and do you save any money reloading over the cost of surplus ammo?
I reload already, but can't seem to save any cash over the cheap prices of ammo.. fullclip

yes, its for 223
I get brass from gibrass.com or rvow.com

It's only slight cheaper than surplus, (minus time), but for tracers, much cheaper.

And my plingking bullets are slightly more accurate.

Hey Lewis, I would go in with you on the deal, but I'd have to wait till I get my tax return. Also, I didn't use the "C" version in my tracers. What about the regular 2230?? If you do wait till I get my Tax return and can get 2230 (not the "C" type). I'll be willing to buy three 8lbs kegs. LMK

FYI: I reload other stuff that doesn't use the "c" version.

Sparsky, I don't know where to get the 2230, thats not c version

Frisco has a place where he can get a deal,  I'll check if it's regular 2230, and not 2230c.

Thanks

And if you want some, I'll pick it up and you can get it at the next farm shoot.

To ALL:  if the gubm't owes you money because you overpaid your taxes, it should be filed by now.

1040A is going out tomorrow or Tuesday. Had to wait for the wife's tax info. So hopefully it'll only take 2 weeks like last year.

Don't smoke while reloading. lol

Most people should start off on a single stage press. Your going to need a scale, funnel, dies, press, lube, reloading manual and a few other things. Lost of different brands out there. I've had good luck with RCBS Presses and scales. And I like Lee dies. He's some links for ya. Any Q's feel free to ask, I'll try to help you as much as I can.

Here's a online reloading manual for Accurate Powders. www.accuratearms.com/home.html

Oh, FYI... I e-mailed Accurate for load info on the 2230C powder. Their responce was to use the 2460 load info, and to start with the lightest load and work your way up. Just thought I'd mention it.

Thanks.  If you sure I can't interest you in some wcc 844, (which is what the mil. uses in m-193 and tracers, according to wideners)

Legs, when ever your ready, let me know.

Lets talk about this in depth when we are at Jeapers.
I'd like to get a press that does multiple rolls.
I don't know jack shit about it so I'm all ears.
