Does anyone know of any run and gun events being held in the Southeast Texas / Houston area? Events similar to the Pecos Run-n-Gun?
Been trying to find one through Google but haven't had much luck. |

There are several but they all have individual websites etc....
Oklahoma Run and Gun is run by The Henschman from here on Arfcom. They have two events a year. Waco Tactical Fitness has an event, sprung up after the Zombie Run and Gun folded. Pecos of course you are familiar with. Then there is an event in Alpine at the Prude Ranch. Usually held in February. Keep an eye on the Ranch website. They don't advertise it much. There is another event that just started in Kerrville. Don't know much about them, seem like good guys. https://www.facebook.com/RioRunNGun/ Those are the events I am personally familiar with. There are two others that are much longer in duration- the Survival Trial- at NRA Whittington Center- 25 miles, 24 hours, 7,000 ft. elevation, moutainous terrain.......Tiger Valley in Waco has the Survival Challenge, 15 miles, many obstacles and trials along the way. |
