Anyone have any experience good/bad with Travelers insurance in Texas?
We get a corporate rate with them, and it's $1,000/year less than our current auto/homeowners bundle. The online reviews are mixed, so I'd like some first hand accounts from anyone who has or used to have insurance with them. Thanks. |
We've been using Travelers for home/auto since we moved here 9 years ago. Never an issue whatsoever. Son has had 4 claims on auto always on top of stuff, got it squared away quickly and easily. Called once about a home claim, had a guy out here promptly to look at it, saw what it was and advised us not to file a claim (relatively simple/cheap repair to avoid deductible and premium rise).
Good to go from my angle! |

looks like you are going to get a mix here as well. lol.
I have had them for I think 10 years. had 2 car claims, one hail damage, one totaled. the total our fault. i don't think we have a claim against them for the house. the hail that hit my car wasn't bad enough for the roof to get totaled according to the adjusters. pretty easy to deal with and no issues getting paid. premiums seem to keep going up. but everytime I shop around, they still wind up the cheapest, except some no namers, or places that got very bad reviews. I went with them when a co worker was talking about how his wife hit his car in the driveway, and they took care of him, no issues no rate increases. |
