Retired disabled Marine. I can get around fine. I have always wanted to get a pig. Any tips would be helpful. Have great 4x4, gear, etc.
Have gun, will travel.

| Texas has a lot of them for sure. There are tons of ranches and guides all over the state that will help you out. There is very little in the way of public hunting in Texas so you will not need the 4x4. What city or town do you want to visit, that would help narrow down what outfits might be best. |
| Richland WMA and Gus Engeling WMA south of Dallas have lots of hogs. I usually shoot at least one every time I go. You need an annual hunting permit to hunt there in addition to the standard license. Some restrictions on dates apply, no limit on hogs there, blast away. A few years ago the state was shooting hogs by helicopter trying to knock the numbers down out there. |
