| Are there any place around DFW that sell suppressors and such? I'd like to put my hands on them and see the differences before I make a purchase. |

You'll be happier shooting them than coonfingering them at the store or listening to somebody who hand a friend that shot one before. Check the manufactures sights for demo dates. Finding a SOT is the easy part. VERY good advice. I've had disagreements with folks that the FRP on a SS Sparrow isn't as bad as they make it out to be. What it all boils down to is the individual. Time to make friends, make some shoots and some shows and get some trigger time on cans for particular caliber your looking for. |

I am looking for my first .22 can, and I live near DFW airport. Any of these places yall listed allow you to shoot or hear them shoot? |

Yeah there was a time when we would do ARFCOM shoots in DFW, and you could see, hear and shoot just about anything. Now, not so much. |

On a more serious note though, somebody told me about a dude and I called him back in 2010 when I was looking for my first can.
I think it was Andrew @ Lone Star Armory. Try giving him a call, tell him you're looking for a 22 can. If it's the same guy, when I called him, he has a place to test out some cans there. Otherwise, just try to find some guys on here or SilencerTalk that are in your area and arrange to meet at a range or something where you can try some out. I say (right now anyway), get a Spectre II and be done with it. I've got an original Silencerco Sparrow (aluminum one) and now the Spectre II. It's pretty ridiculous all around. |
