I was looking at getting an AAC 18T flash suppressor (also QD for suppressor later...CHEA!). I see that my barrel is threaded for 1/2-28 but some online show as 1/2x28...wondering if it's the same and not some crazy way to tighten backwards etc.

It's the same. Why 18T though? Have you already bought a can that uses that mount?
